Hi all

I recently added 15mm to the depth of an existing blank firecheck door (one side only). The client wanted it match other recessed panelled doors.

I left the existing tubular latch and "vanity" lock where they were.

Now that the door is deeper the strike latch is not deep enough.

I need something like the ones in the following links (in a nickel finish).

Any recommendations of suppliers (west London ones would be even better but UK web will suffice)

Thanks

I would have rather done both sides (or started from scratch) but the door was prepainted so I am not overly concerned about warping from pinning and gluing the MDF

Alpro do a deeper latch bolt strike part no 5245
Yale also have a long lipped strike for the Yale 77
The Yale version is cheaper but may be to long.
