my cooker is on its own 30amp 6mm radial but there is an additional double point spured off the controll unit, is it safe? do i need to disconnect it or can i just up the fuse in the consumer unit or just change the double point for a fussed double point?

USUALY COOKER POINTS CONTAIN ONE 13AMP SOCKET OUTLET ANYWAY SO YOU SHOULD BE OK WITH ONE DOUBLE UNIT SPURED OFF. IF YOU STILL WANT TO INSTALL A FUSED SPUR UNIT AND DOWNRATE THE FUSE TO 13AMP THIS WILL ALSO INCREASE THE PROTECTION OF THE SPUR..
