I have a Saunier Duval Isomax boiler on the ground floor at one on my house, the rads in the same side of the house all work great, but there is a main flow and return that goes up into the loft and then drop feeds all the rads on the other side of the house. Problem is that I do not think that the existing pump is man enough to move the water around sufficiently in the other side of the house from the boiler.

Question is should I fit another pump and if so :
1) Should it be on the flow or return
2) whereabouts is the extra pump best placed.

TIA

Iain

It sounds more like a balancing problem, not a pump problem. Just because the house is high, does not mean you need a bigger pump. Water going up is balanced by water going down, so the "pump" just helps circulation, which is why it's more properly called a circulator.

You could have air in the system, have you bled everything?
