extra rad question, please help!

Hi I'm a beginner at this. I'm fitting an extra radiator and I want to know does it make any difference which end of the radiator gets connected to each pipe? I'm guessing the rad is just a long piece of pipe and as long as it connects to flow and return it will work fine...a Am I wrong about this??? Please advise.

Make sue that your valves are bi-directional, i.e. don't care which way the flow is.... on some it matters, particularly the older ones.
