Hi,
We've just had a new bathroom installed including new ceiling, light and extractor fan. The new extract fan runs from the ceiling into the loft space. It was my understanding that the extract outlet would be fitted to the soffit board so it was terminating outside however the builder has left it screwed into a roof joist.
The builder has said there will not be any problems with it but whilst i'm not a expert surely this will become a damp problem in the very near future if warm air is extracting into a cold loft space
Am i wrong or is this shoddy work?
Thanks
