I have just moved into a new house and have realised that the extractor fan is situated on the ceiling and ends there..ie. its extracting water vapour into the loft space.
This is against building regulations and I can get the builders back to put in a vent. However, before I do so, I want to be sure that this is the right way to go. I have read elsewhere that you should 'puncture' a living space as little as possible. Whilst a vent will sort the water vapour problem, there will be yet another hole in the wall and an escape route for heat.
I just wondered if there is any other system out there to sort this?
