I have an extractor fan in my kitchen almost ready to use, problem is that the hole size on the vent is 150mm wide. and the hole through the wall is square and is 100mm wide.

I'm trying to find one of these

but not having much look. I can't use reducers because the ceiling is lower there so if anyone has any ideas i'd be grateful. Pretty desperate if i'm honest.

thanks

Laura

Are you seriously suggesting that you're going to REDUCE the size of your ventilation duct as you go through the wall? I really think that you reconsider, a 100mm square duct is only 56%(ish) of the size of a 150mm round one. You'll be creating a massive restriction in your vent.

Time to get the hammer and chisel out and modify the hole in your wall
