Extractor fan

Can anyone tell me if you could wire an extractor fan to the light in the bathroom would this work ok ?

Depends if you wire it correctly really. It needs a local isolator, and Part P approval.

If you have a standard fan then yes as the FCU isolates live and neutral.
If you are planning to use a timed fan then you need a three pole fan isolator switch.
