I am new to this site so i would like to start by saying hello to everyone :D .

Can you advise me to which type of bathroom extractor fan is better and why, between a ceiling mounted extractor fan and a wall mounted extractor fan.

Thanks in advance :D

Make sure it's installed in a safe zone or is extra low voltage if you've no choice on it's siting. Normally a wall mounted one is easier to fit in my expereince as you don't have to go through the roofing.

Given the choice..... a wall mounted one every time.

Reason..... the duct is straight and seldom more than 12 inches long.

Which means the air flow is the best you can get for the minimum power and noise from the fan.
