A couple of quickies:
I'm told you are no longer allowed to wire an extractor fan in the lighting circuit. How do you wire a timed fan linked to the light in a bathroom without a window? The last one I did, the fan timer got it's live feeds from both sides of the light switch.
Do you have to run an earth bonding wire to brass TV aerial sockets? Note I am in Scotland where we don't have Part P.

lighting circuit for a fan is fine, assuming there is enough slack for the extra watts- but it should have a 3 pole switch to allow the fan to be turned off for cleaning or whatever, without affecting the lights. (3 poles are fixed live, trigger live and neutral.) Switch outside th ebathroom over the door is my personal choice.
No change to the regs as such. Maybe the NIC are trying to roll their own again.

Only earth TV sockets if they share a back box or conduit with sometihng else. Otherwise, like the telephone, its best left alone.
