Hello,

I have an en-suite and a utility room next to each other and require an extractor for each of them.

My question is can I have vents from the rooms both connected in to the same ducting and then have an in-line fan after the vents to pull the air to the outside (12-14 feet from the furthest vent)?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

You could, however be aware that when the fan is not running, air will pass from one room to the other. This probably isn't what you want.

The fan will need to be significantly more powerful than a standard extractor fan (and therefore more expensive and noisy)

one fan from each with a butterfly valve on each to stop the "back draught" of nasty smells?
