F4 on Glowworm 330 - and ideas?

two questions from a newbie:

1. anyone know what the error code F4 indicates on the (Scottish Gas) Glowworm 330 boiler?

2. any pointers to an online manual for this boiler.

we have just noticed that the CH did not come on this evening and hence the interest in the F4.

F4 is ignition lockout during lighting sequence.
How old is the boiler and when was it last serviced?
It may need a new door seal, in which case the boiler could be dangerous at present and using it may cause further damage.
You won't be able to fix this yourself, as it involves checking the gas components. I suggest finding a good local Gas engineer.
Your boiler is a rebranded Glow Worm 30HXI. You will find the manual on the Glowworm website.

I decided to get the gas man come check as I'm covered under Homecare from Scottish Gas from which we bought the boiler in 2007.

I did turn it off and on again - that old trick - and now I've an F1
