fabric softener left in chamber

when using my bosch wfd2471 washing machine after the wash and rinse has finished the fabric softener is still in the chamber. Can any one help

Take the tray out & give it a good clean.
Clean the roof jets with an old toothbrush or similar while you have the tray out.
