Anyone used fake turf for a lawn on here and what did they think ?
I've currently built up my front garden , placed in hardcore and chippinds and whacked it down nice and tight. Got 2 rolls of terram ready to lay down ....so now im contemplating either..
1 . its going to take 5 tons of soil to create a thick enough layer with which to lay alawn on ( cost of soil approx £300 plus turf approx another £300 ) total £600
2. 5 tons of sharp sand costing £120 plus £399 for a fake lawn ( i've got a sample here 20mm lifestyle and its brilliant ) total £520
Just wondering if anyones laid a fake lawn and what they think...price wise and quality wise it seems really good..
Total area is 6m x 5 m so 30sq.m
