Has anyone suffered problems with the protective tape on fakro white upvc roof windows ? We have just fitted four for a client and there was a delay in the job of about 8 weeks. When we came to remove the protective tape it cant be removed and is stuck to the white UPVC like the provierbial S**t to a blanket.
fakro are saying that its our fault as we didnt remove the protective film immediately after installation and are saying that heat during the delay has delaminated the protective film. They have tried to remove with dissolving chemicals but this hasnt worked...
