Just took the meter reading and this month we used 317 units, might still sound a lot but it is a lot less than 395 units, which is how much we used last month.
It isn't because February has 28 days either, we used just about 11 units a day compared to nearly 13 a day last month.
Well, what did I do?
Didn't adjust the flow temperature much.
Normal: 65C
Mild: 60C
Very cold: 70C.
Yesterday I left it on 65C even though it was mild, came home and the house had a new found warmth, temperature was the same but I think if the flow temperature is set too low some rooms don't get enough heat. The living room were the stat is located can get up to temperature quite easily with low flow temps but not the porch and a few bedrooms.
Oh yes and I am now comfortable at 16.5C in in my room and the heating barely has to fire up now.
So overall a very pleasing result.
