Hello,
I have GROHE Avensys shower (thermostatically controlled unit for combi-boiler).
I've had it a couple of years and it isn't used very much (maybe once a month at best) and in the past month it's just stopped working properly (re: it was working), I've also tried adjusting the thermostat level.
What happens is no matter what I set the temperature to (fully hot, fully cold) it is always the same temperature and it's the temperature that is coming from the hot/cold pipes.
I've adjusted the hot and cold feed to various levels (using the valves) and the temperature matches what I've done (e.g. always cold, always hot, always medium, etc).
The flow rates are fine as is the flow rate plugs supplied.
Is this a case of requiring a complete control unit or perhaps something simpler like the wax element or slider?
Thanks for any advice
