Farage Kent Coast discuss

... yes i agree with you of course once safe and not being peppered with bullets they have time to think evaluate calculate etc blah blah.

...
Your argument about them having to apply for asylum in the first safe country, (and when that was dispelled) about them having a moral duty to do so, and it's what you would do, etc, has also now also been dispelled.

Nope.

Our religions base their rules on socially accepted behaviour.

Humans (and other animals) are genetically programmed not to murder other members of their own species. Humans live in family groups which are interdependent.

So the religion takes on these practices and says "thou shalt not kill" and "honour thy father and thy mother."

Social groups need to treat members with a degree of fairness, otherwise they will fall out and lose cohesion and the benefits of mutual support. Hence "thou shalt not steal" and "cursed be he that moves his neighbours landmark" (or fence)

It is not the religion leading human behaviour.

It is human behaviour leading religion.
I fully agree about the origin of religion, in the main.
But there are many other nuances that have been, and still are, influenced by religion that bears no resemblance to "socially acceptable behaviour".

There are many other facets to law and common practice beyond murder, stealing, respect for relatives, etc.

And not all animals are sociable, some are very isolationist, and many do practise cannibalism, theft of neighbours property, etc.
True the more intelligent animals do respect some of your examples, but there is no process for punishing offenders, which probably originated in religion.

does a civil war in your own give you automatic rights to travel all the round the world and plonk your ass in that country
Not especially no. Nor does some gammon RWR ****, stomping up and down the Sussex coast, prevent it either.

The sad thing is that this guy has nothing better to do. He doesn't seem to run a business, no longer an MP, just a bitter old with money.
Most people in his position would be out there doing voluntary work right now, delivering food to those in isolation, or something else useful.
But he takes a fishing boat out into the channel to hunt for refugees. Not sure how they maintain social distancing on a boat. ****.

And Sky News doing the same i see? Perhaps just as desperate reporting current issues...

No need to highlight how racist you already are with comments like that, skin colour has nothing to do with it, youll find all colours of people equally abusing the rights of these people once they land here too, now, off you trundle.

he hosts a very successful currant affairs radio show!

In any case, if it was not for the likes of Farage letting the nation know what is happening - The french gov would be bussing them across france then ferrying them over the chanel as fast as they could - nobody wants these migrants. It would soon be many thousands a day for us to home and look after - totally unsustainable.

I'm not against inward migration, but it should be up to us to chose who comes in rather than having to accept those who have illegally barged in uninvited and unwanted.

Pretty sure the coast guard and navy know what is going on. They just don't need to turn it into a marketing opportunity.

Not really current issues, though, it's been going on for ages. MOre like creating a smoke screen, or probably, more likely, focusing public anger on something other than the government balls up.

so why is the navy and the coast guard not stopping it then ?
from farages observations the french are escorting these migrants half way across the channel where our forces meet them and escort them the rest of the way.

he is no more turning it into a 'marketing opportunity' than the media in general are doing with coronavirus, news is news

from farages observations

So, Farage has highlighted that kind nations such as France and GB do not sit by and watch while boats capsize and men, women and children drown in our seas. Well, maybe some people knew that already and didn't feel the need to take a fishing boat out to show us?

Would you really prefer to see dead bodies washed up on the beaches here? Once these little, overcrowded boats are in the water, they cannot be safely stopped, the risk of them capsizing, and drowning most on board, is too great. So the authorities shadow them (not escort) so if they do get into trouble, they can hopefully be saved.

Obviously, the French are responsible for their waters, and the British for ours, which is why the French navy does not sail all the way to our shores.

Why is this so hard for Farage and some people here to understand? The alternative is having our beaches closed while decomposing bodies are removed. Pretty sure nobody wants that. Do you have a better solution, and not just a theoretical one based on people not actually fleeing war zones?

The French Navy boat could have quite easily and safely picked them up in French waters, or turned them round. The Fact that they escorted them to the edge of British waters where they were met by a UK coastguard boat who escorted them into UK is a little bit unusual, as was their reluctance at being filmed..
