Indeed I have, I even had a conversation with OFSTED, as my kids nursary had been told they MUST use them by the inspector, OFSTED assured me they did no such thing, and were going to advise inspectors otherwise, including extra measures if nurserys thought that standard sockets were not safe enough, such as the brands that need 3 pins in to open the shutters.
