Faulty TRV??

Thanks for the input. The only thing is the boiler isn't switching off as the other radiators in the house are staying on. Its only the new one that is switching itself off adter a short period. Thoughts?

I have the plumber that fitted it coming to see it tomorrow morning - What exactly should I be ensuring he does?

Sorry to keeping going on about this one but Ive calculated that the total heat loss of 673W (fabric heat loss 320W and ventilation heat loss 352W) so the radiator provided is not under sized as it is 1051W.

If the radiator is switching off before the room has reached the set temperature is this likely to be due to lack of balancing?

like a previous poster has said remove the trv head off the valve and see what happens then, the trv may just be in a ''warm spot'' of the room and getting a false reading
