Hi,
i've got an old fan heater that runs off the central heating. Due to many changes of pipework over the years its not possible to tell which is the flow and which is the return.
The heater matrix lies flat but isn't symmetrical, with one connection about an inch higher than the other. The high one currently has a T just before the connection with the flow/return at the bottom, connecting to the matrix via the middle, with the top part of the T leading up via a braided hose to a bleed valve that is situated on the exterior face of the heater.
The other connector is lower with a bleed nipple directly fixed to the heater matrix. This isn't accessible without removing the front panel.
Not sure which is which?
If required I've got photos, but don't know how to post them.
Cheers
