Having read many posts on similar faults, I immediately checked the heater, it had a reading of 25 ohms so presumed working, the machine does heat the water, but errors after a short while during the wash cycle on all programmes except prewash and fast
Incidentally it started showing the error during the drying cycle, but as the contents were clean and largely dry we left it!
Next I checked the controller board in the door, it had some chalky corrosion deposits which appeared to bridge two solder points, so I cleaned them off and was hopefull it would fix the problem, alas sadly not.
So what's the next thing to check, I a summing there is a thermostat of some sort somewhere and of course the controller board may still be faulty
After spending quite a considerable amount of time and effort (not money) on this machine I'm not in favour of skipping it, have replaced the top drawer water inlet seal, which took months to track down the poor rinse performance
Any ideas?
Thanks
Scott
