Hi all,

I'm not sure if I should worry or not but i'm in the process of removing all the bonding and plaster around the window frames ready to get the new ones measured up.

I'm worried about using an SDS drill on the Lintels above the windows in case I crack them.

Should I be worried or is this normal practice?

Thanks

You could use a bolster and club hammer, but an sds drill with rotation stop and a spade bit should be ok if used at shallow angle, assuming the lintel is fine

Blup

Should be fine assuming lintel is in good condition ( otherwise it would need replacing).
