Been to a job today and came across something new.

Feed and expansion tank.

Anyone else worked on a system with one of these?

is this the one with a vase on the wall that the householder is expected to top up with a jug?

Not seen them down south, but I believe it was used by some very-budget heating firm many years ago.

Haha, almost did Dan but it was an old dear so couldn't leave her without heating.

Anyone know what sort of year these were Installed?

great seeing one again, not seen one for a while.

Tomplum worked for Servowarm if I recall correctly??

They had some wonderful inative ideas & must of made a fortune back in the day.

Then promptly piddled water all over the floor?

Must confess to not realising they did this flower pot thing. Thought it was manually filled header tanks


The system sludge must be horrendous.
