Oi oiiii!

My new shed has a felt roof. It was erected in colder weather. I pasted on loads of this bitumen black tar stuff on where the felt sheets overlapped. It is now running down the roof in big dribbles in the heat. I'm thinking to disguise the running tar in the greenish coloured grit that is covering the felt sheets. Is it possible to buy a jar of that grit stuff? I've done a Google search and not yielding desired results. Might be a weird product with an odd name?

Slate grit/mineral chippings.

Best to enquire at a local roofing supplier. Usually comes in a bag or tub, it's a bit heavy to post without extra charges applied.
