Felt Roof.

I am hiring a Roofer who is reassuring me that it is okay to install two new layers of Felt over the existing old felt by Torch on. This is a Concrete roof which is currently leaking. Is this usual practice or recipe for disaster ? Please advise.

It can work easily if he knows what he is doing.

Why? If it needs re-felting then the old felt is shot, so why would you want to just go over it?

I can understand why a roofer would want to, but not why a customer would want him to.

The current felt (old) is Torch on.
