I have a 6 foot high by 10 foot wide fence. I noticed that a couple of the fence posts are rotting where they are dug into the soil. I want to keep the fence but just want to replace the posts. Can I just detach the posts and put a new 4x4 treated lumber post back on the fence? Any help is appreciated.
