Fence treatment

Can anyone recommend a decent clear fence treatment for my new Pickett fence. I like the rustic feel of the natural wood and just want something to protect it without changing the colour too much. Don’t mind if it changes slightly.
Also don’t want to spend the earth as I am aware that some products can be costly.
