Can anyone tell me if a FENSA certificate is required for second hand patio doors which still meet the fensa specification requirements.

It seems to me that as FENSA applies to all replacement doors, windows, then it is not just restricted to new items.

Can anyone shed any light on this please.

If you want your 'new' patio door to comply with Building Regulations you will either need a Fensa certificate provided by a Fensa window supplier/fitter or you will need Building Control to give you approval. Either will not be possible with a second hand window unless you can prove the specification of the door.
