Hi all.
I'm an engineer and was called to a job with a ferolli optimax he38c boiler showing an a01 fault code which says in the book either a flame sensing electrode problem or faulty Pcb. Checked over the electrode and lead. Seemed ok so went for the board. Couldn't set the paremeters as this boiler wasn't listed on the sheet of paper supplied, so called ferolli and was told I only needed to worry about the first 2 being set to the value of 01. Now getting an f15 fault code on heating demand. Shows fault but still fires up for hot water. Fan seems to be constantly running also. Any ideas?
