Ferolli Modena boiler problem.

Hi,

I've no idea about any "technical terms" regarding boilers so you will have to make any replies really simple please.

Basically I've got a Ferroli Modena 102 that won't fire up properly. If I use the reset switch the boiler will fire up for about 10 seconds and then cut out however the boiler shutdown light DOES NOT come on. Throughout the day the boiler may then keep firing up and goes straight off.

the dhw thermistor could be a cause or there is a funnel grommet in the fan that becomes very brittle after time and needs replacing as the positive pressure isnt stong enought to make the pressure switch. normally the hot water works as the burner is on full flame

has the boiler been recently fitted? Has it a 22mm gas supply?
