Ferroli Boiler and Hot Water Temperature

Ferroli Boiler - Optimax He Plus 38c - I have been unlucky to move into a property with this boiler - I have seen a number of my neighbours have these removed.

When running a tap the water will heat to 55C which is the highest setting on the boiler but when running a bath the water temperature doesn't seem to get above 43C even if it's run on a slow fill.

Is this expected, or is there something wrong with the boiler.

Check if a temperature limiting valve is fitted to the bath or is it a mixer tap that’s faulty

And measure the flowrate at the bath tap...even an 1/8 of a turn open on a tradtional 3/4 tap can be too much sometimes..
