Hi All,

New to this forum so please be gentle! I've got an oldish boiler (Ferroli Optimax HE 38c) with a diagnosed leaking cold water inlet valve. British gas said they wouldn't fix it as the part was obselete - i've managed to find the part and i now have it question is it an easy diy fit? I'm thinking just isolate the water via stop cock, turn off the boiler then plug and play?

Pics for info. Any info appreciated.

Thanks

Is it funny how the householder can find the part but BG can't. Did they try and sell you a new boiler by any chance?
