Hi, new here so pls bear with me!
Previous issues with boiler in that water runs cold if heating on at same time - have to turn heating off then wait approx 15mins before taps or shower will run hot water (kinda defeats object in winter, brr!)
Over Xmas the boiler would fire up central heating, then stop after less than a minute.
Yesterday it decided not to play ball at all - sounds like it's firing up for water or heating, but no ignition. Very slight flicker in ignition light indicator but flame didn't spark, tho boiler still sounds like it 'thinks' it's running.
Hope this makes some kind of sense and that someone can help. Have had bad exprience with heating engineers in past where I've been ripped off for unnecessary parts etc.
