Ferroli Optima 701 spares ?

Hi, I had a plumber friend install two extra rads ( new extension ) for me, the two flow/ret isolation valves under the boiler are now dripping. He gave me a phone no. for HECAS in Rochdale and said he'd fit them if I get them.

HECAS tell me they're obsolete and they can't help!

Looking at them, they're simply right angled 22mm isolators, can I get any that will fit ? ie a generic type ?

I emailed Ferroli but no reply.................

WIggle them a bit, pull the squares a bit, and leave for a couple of days. Bet they stop by themselves.
Otherwise try Partscenter, spelled like that.

They are often virtually the same as those used on other boilers.

trouble is the parts places work on part numbers and will not usually bother to look for something similar for you.

It may well be that a similar part from a later ferolli would fit.

Thanks for the quick replies. Ferroli have now replied to my email simply saying this part is now obsolete, customer care eh!

I registered on the partscenter site and had a search but didn't get far, I found a valve pack for £40+ but no description of what it consists of. I could not get to the diagrams bit of the site as you need an account.

Hello Pete.

I have exactly the same problem and my boiler is constantly leaking through these valves. Did you find them anywhere? Or a replacement?
