I would be very grateful of some help with our boiler problem.

Our ancient Ferroli Optima 1001 is due to be replaced when we extend our kitchen later in the year, but currently we have CH but no DHW.

The LED's suggest faulty thermistor (only 1 and 2 are lit) but the thermistor is fine. I actually replaced it already. I also tried swapping the wiring from the CH to the DHW thermistor and no change. I also swapped the PCB, but no change.

There is no diverter valve in this boiler.

Anything else I've missed? Any help gratefully received.

LEDs don't always indicate the fault correctly. The boiler needs to know you have opened a hot water tap to fire up. These boilers have a DHW flow sensor. Swapping parts willy nilly on a gas appliance without the correct equipment or knowledge to test it can lead to worse than a lack of hot water. I suggest you call a qualified heating engineer.
