Fibreglass or lead tray

I live in a semi which has a valley between us and the next door neighbour and the lead tray has begun to leak.

The neighbour has suggested using fibreglass rather than the expense of using lead.

Can I have your opinions on this please?

You will need a Roof Bonding Gutter - not to save on expense but because its a far better method.
See fixmyroof on utube, he's a roofer who will demonstrate much better than I could try and explain.

In the meantime, why not post a photo on here - a couple if its the front and the back roof planes?

Hi Vinn,

Didn't see anything on the videos which referred to my situation. Unfortunately I can't get up on the roof to take any pics, but it is the standard 1920 bay windowed semi with a large chimney stack and 2 gables over the lounge/bedroom windows.
