The car is a 1993 Fiesta 1.1 HCS engine.
After the car has been left overnight there is about a desert-spoonful of coolant on the floor directly under the pulley wheel.
I have recently replaced the water pump gasket and all was well.
Currently I have checked the water pump bolts, all hose connections and the thermostat housing. So I'm driven to conclude that the leak is coming from the pump itself. I am not losing a great deal of water from the header tank - i.e. the level is not dramatically going down.
(1) Is it possible to have a leak from the pump body ?
(2) If it is, then why aren't I losing more water - one would imagine that when under pressure any leak would be increased?
I'm a bit lost here so all advice is welcome.
Regards
