filler lines on plaster

Fillered cracks on walls using polyfiller sanded back painted and still see the fillers lines where the cracks were any suggestions guys?

Just tried filling hairline cracks in the hallway and sanded back put first and second coat but the lines where filled are still visible any advice will be much appreciated do i need to use a primer now over the second coat or do i sand back first lost in what to do and losing hope guys

You need to apply stain block or oil based undercoat. Then emulsion.

As long as your fill has been sanded down and flat.

Not sure how your managed to get that like it?

Rake out cracks with old screwdriver or stanley knife.

Pva seal 3-1

Fill and when set fill again. Second fill should be 50mm either side of crack and damp sponge around edges to feather out.

Sand with 180g but use block of wood or sanding blocks so it's flat.

Prime with acrylic primer undercoat with 20% water and mini roller and leave for 5h hours to dry off

Only paint when happy it's good..

My second fill was 50mm then painted and could see the filler even when sanded down then in the end i thought just sand it back to hair line crack too only see the hairline cracks filled but the finish came like this soo confused at the moment i havent used any primer im using dulux matt paint any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

It is smooth in line with rest of wall will a primer help?

Switch to toupret powder. Standard stuff in red box from sf it toolstation. Get your summer fan out as will drastically increase drying times from 6h to about 1h. Mix small amounts.
