Filler or caulk for pinholes and fine cracks

I've just mist coated my self skimmed ceiling, which after some serious sanding is looking pretty good. I now have some small dents, pinholes and fine cracks on the board joints.

Would a scrape of caulk or filler be better? I think caulk would avoid needing to sand the filler etc?

I would go with a light weight filler such as RedDevil OneTime. Apply it, leave it for a few hours and then lightly sand it with 180-220 grit paper. The dust from it does not become statically charged and stick to everything (unlike powder based fillers). The stuff is so soft that you can smooth it with a slightly damp sponge- I prefer to use silicon-carbide paper because it is more precise. Oh, and you will not to mist the OneTime.

Caulk is too thick. You will see the edges, even if you try to sand it. It is possible to sand caulk, but in most cases the outer edges rip.

Far play on the DIY plastering. I have been a decorator for more years than I choose to remember, but I cannot plaster.

Edit, only just noticed that you have slightly blown paint on the crack in the image. I would sand that lightly with 80-120 grit first. Did you use scrim tape first?
