Hey folks, I discovered this forum by search engine and have a question and hoping maybe you guys can help me out over here in the US.

I just completed a fairly large entertainment center approx 3meters by 2.4 meters. I used solid Red Oak wood and am ready to seal the nail holes and stain with a dark cherry finish. What is the best product/method so the filled nail holes will blend as closely to the stained wood?

Look out for a filler that is labelled as "stainable" - not all are.

you could mix some sanding dust with a clear drying glue for a perfect match.
