Filter location - in the HW primary return?

I want to install a filter in the primary system. The HW primary return in my system needs to be moved to near the boiler to avoid warm radiators when the CH is off. It would be convenient to put a filter in the new HW primary return pipe. Is this a good place? Where is the best place for a filter?

For a magnetic filter, it's recommended on the return.

Not the hot water heating coil return!

Bolshy means the boiler primary return not the cylinder return btw

As near to the boiler as possible on the return is best.
