Hi
Had 3 ceilings skimmed about 2 weeks ago.
They are dried and pretty much ready for painting but in 2 I have noticed long very fine hairline cracks in them (in straight lines)
I understood that this soemtimes happens when plater dries?

Question is do I need to repair them or if they are hairline when overpainted will they likely not be noticable?

paint over - use a non vinyl matt thinned - mist coat - then a coat of " decent " vinyl matt . They may well be virtually invisible - leave them anyway , until the next time you decorate , when if necessary cut them out and fill - ask in the decs forum when the time comes ;)
