Fire action notices / Fire notice

Hi all, I am wondering where you MUST have fire action notices not where they are good to put but where they MUST be put
I noticed this statement in one of our fire safety guidance books "A Fire Action Notice located correctly adjacent a red manual call point." (not a guidance book just for our building but for any building in the uk) in the building, currently we have a few that where made by us (not me) and are just printed and laminated completed white background black text, the odd few are like the normal coloured symbol ones but again printed aminated, many areas do not have them.

Also do you need fire alarm call point stickers next to each call point/emergency door releases?

This is the third fire safety related question. What's your agenda?

FYI, fire safety is very site specific and is largely made up of opinion (of the responsible person) and not prescriptive regulations.

If you have issues with the site fire safety regime, then you have a duty to bring those concerns to the attention of the responsible person, or if need be use your whistle blowing procedure.

You won't be doing yourself or the site any favours by seeking out issues, then seeking answers to those perceived issues from a diy forum.

Get the site Fire Safety Risk Assessment, it's all in there.

If you need fire safety training, ask for it.

OK you need to have these notices next to every single call point, on each door, near all exits and all at the same height.

Now then, I'm just some random guy on an internet forum, is what I said truth or lie?
Can you rely on this for the safety of the pupild in your school?

If you use the BS I said in the first line then you really need to get yourself some help from an expert as us folks on t'internet cannot be relied upon to give you a definitve and correct answer that you can trust 100%.

No one here can provide anything that's relevant to your building, because no one here has been to that building and seen what is in it, how it's used, who uses it, what layout it has, what materials it's constructed from and so on.

Your school should have a fire evacuation procedure book, a fire assessment done by the responsible person (usually a professional contractor) with report available to anyone who might concern, a fire drill register and fire check register, again available to whom it may concern.
All the answers to your questions are there.
If you think someone is cutting corners, report it to your boss in writing so if something happens you will be clear of any wrongdoing.

I think I've already told you this but somehow you're not happy.
