Oasis, I only said your price was a little overpriced! Obviously if you saw it things maybe would be different. Your right I'm not a fire alarm specialist hence why I have asked for advice (which I appreciate!) for me, it's good to have a point of reference as I thought the original quote seemed high, I now realise it's not, I think hes taken in to account I have another two properties that I look after requiring the same. This is a reputable company that I'm using, he will bring the building up to the requirements required to the meet the risk assessment findings. (once I've fitted the doors, closers and intumescent strips etc ). Thanks again for your comments it has helped!
