Im about to start a project to get ready a fire place to have a 6KW log burner installed in a fire place, on the installation instructions it says I should have 200mm either side of the burner 50mm behind and 600mm in from to edge of fire Hearth but what im unsure of is the thickeness of the Hearth and what that should be.
I have a Hearth in the floor from the contruction of the 3 bedroom semi but what thickness above please?
