Hi just had boiler serviced as a continual noise from hot water sounds like a tap is on slowly but isn't. Boilerman said not pump as all working ok and must be a leak. Can't find one and have even changed some tap values. Our pipes are under floorboards and ceilings so would notice leak. We did run out of oil 2 weeks ago and wonder if this is caused however reset the lock out and ran ok? Help pls!!

Do you live in a hard water area fella?

Turn off the main stoptap to the house and then check if you still hear the noise
