Ok it's daft question, but not as daft as one that never got asked!
I've installed 2kw/M underfloor heating under my new kitchen tile, fingers crossed this will be my primary heat source for years to come.
It's electrical, so will fail one day soon or in 30 years time.
As a contingency I've, first fixed some 15mm barrier pipe in a new stud wall so I may add a radiator if needed later. Oh course I would normally hang a rad, then run the pipe to it. Because I can't do this what pipe centres should I allow for?
There's space to hang a 514mm wide rad, the pipe would exsit the wall to a corner trv and lockshield valve. Just push fit elbows are left inside the partition. I'd like to be able to dig them out with minimum damage when needed, so roughly the correct pipe centres would help?

400mm wide radiator you would locate your pipes 480mm centers.

But do check that you have the space foe a 400mm radiator

Thank you, I'll aim to put them at 594ish, it's flexible barrier pipe anyway. I will add a couple of double 4x2 noggins top and bottom at 1600 centres to suit almost any 1800 tall rad

Thank you again
