i have just bought 40 metres of block flooring and was wondering if it can be layed on plastic tiles.
the tiles are marly i think thin gray tiles that have been glued down.
is they any way i can lay the block floor on top.
any help would be aprecated.

No, for the simple reason no modern adhesive will bond with the tiles.

Remove them, make good any defects to the underfloor and install the wood blocks on an even floor (concrete no doubt) with suitable parquet adhesive

thanks you for the help.
could i lay ply on the floor tiles and if so will the ply have to be screwed to floor. all so what thickness ply would i need.
thanks for any help.

12mm ply (go for exterior grade, might be a bit more expensive but better save than sorry) and screw (stainless steel!) every 25 cm
Then you can use normal parquet adhesive to glue down the blocks
