I have a customer with one of the above. Does anyone here have access to the knowledge that Fischer apparently keeps secret, which is how to pair the appliance with its wireless thermostat?
I called Fischer, and they stonewalled me on the grounds that they couldn't find any record of the customer's name or address in their records. This tells me that they restrict the information to their own installers. I told them that what they were doing amounted to keeping it a secret, and no other manufacturer has ever done that. Also that I would make sure no customer of mine ever buys any Fischer Heating product, ever. They appeared to give not one rat's crap.
As for their products being "more efficient" and such nonsense - well we all know that this is close to fraud, but also that nobody will ever have the time to pursue that point. When we live in a world of Brexit nonsense, and a list of overspent public sector projects (e.g. HS2), a blatent lie from a manufacturer seems low on the list of priorities.
I had this problem after putting new batteries into my thermostat controller. If you turn the dial to the ‘off’ mode and hold down the far left button, it’ll reconnect the thermostat to the appliance. Pure luck (and fidgeting) stumbling across this fix, absolutely no guide or indication from Fischer anywhere online, ridiculous if you ask me.
